Phi Lambda Sigma is the international pharmacy leadership society. Our mission is to support pharmacy leadership commitment by recognizing leaders and fostering leadership development.

Are you a recent PharmD grad and PLS member? Want to take your leadership skills to the next level? This opportunity is for you!

#PharmGradWishList is proud to partner with Phi Lambda Sigma to offer TWO free spots in the PLS National Executive Committee Leader Academy 2022-2023 cohort for racially or ethnically minoritized pharmacists!

We specifically welcome applications from recent graduates who have gone straight into practice in any setting – community, managed care, hospital practice, long-term care, consulting and beyond! Current residents and fellows are also welcome to apply.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the PLS National Executive Committee (NEC) Leader Academy?

In a small cohort of pharmacy student leaders and pharmacists led by a trained facilitator from the PLS NEC, you will have the opportunity to learn and apply leadership development tools from the GiANT Worldwide 5 Voices system. You will develop a better understanding of your leadership style and learn to “know yourself to lead yourself” through a series of visual tools that help guide you through common leadership challenges. The skills you will learn are transferrable to any practice setting and offer the chance to enhance your leadership skills, while learning about the styles and tendencies of others on your team.

What is the time commitment?

The program requires minimal time commitment, meeting via Zoom for 1 hour every other week from September 2022 to April 2023. This schedule gives you a chance to learn and practice these tools, building upon the skills you’ve developed in the program as you gain practical experience leading others.
