Congratulations to Beta Alpha chapter (@plsbetaalpha) of the University of
Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy for being our 2024 Charles C. Thomas Leadership Challenge winners!

Beta Alpha’s award-winning proposal was to host an "Inclusive Leadership Track” for students,
faculty, and staff at their school. This longitudinal program will include live sessions, self-directed
education, and personal reflection in partnership with other professional organizations and the
local community.

We can't wait to hear about the results of this awesome program at the 2025 House of Delegates! #RecognizeCultivateInspire @uwmadisonpharmacy

We are excited to recognize the 2024 recipient of

We are excited to recognize the 2024 recipient of the Charles C. Thomas Leadership Scholarship. This scholarship was established by the APhA Foundation in honor of Phi Lambda Sigma and our Founder, Charles C. Thomas, RPh, FAPhA.

Marlene is a second-year pharmacy student at William Carey University School of Pharmacy (@wcupharmacy) in Biloxi, Mississippi. During her time as a student pharmacist, she has participated in many organizations including APhA, ASHP, ACCP, CPFI, and PLS. Marlene is passionate about involvement in school and the community such as volunteering at multiple health fairs, awareness walks, and more notably a mission trip in San Pedro Yepocapa, Guatemala with Praying Pelicans Missions.
