2024 Chapter Innovation Poster Session:
Call for Submissions

We are excited to again host our annual Chapter Innovation Poster Session during the 2024 Phi Lambda Sigma National Leadership Summit! The posters describe a chapter event that involves one of 5 categories:

  • Leadership Development
  • Membership Engagement
  • Mentorship
  • Community Engagement
  • Alumni Engagement
  • Other
Chapters are invited to submit an abstract for the Chapter Innovation Poster Sessions on Friday, April 5th, 2024 from 2-3 PM Eastern Time. One-time or recurrent projects or events completed by a PLS Chapter can be presented and should focus on transformational change. Potential ideas include community service, leadership programming, mentorship programs, etc. Only completed projects, events or programs will be considered. Upon approval, each chapter will create a poster and 3-5 minute presentation which will be presented during the Chapter Innovation Poster Session. At least one presenter must be registered for the Summit and available to present on Friday April 5th, 2024 for the LIVE Poster Session. We also request that presenters are individuals who have been involved in the creation or implementation of the project or event.

Abstracts due: February 12th, 2024 at 11:59 PM PT

Abstract approval notice by: February 19th, 2024

Finalized posters & recorded presentations due: March 18th, 2024 at 11:59 PM PT

  • Presenter(s) information
    • Name
    • Class
    • Contact information
    • Position in Phi Lambda Sigma (if applicable)
  • 150-300 word abstract with information on:
    • Project or event date(s) and duration
    • Number of participants (Phi Lambda Sigma members, students, alumni, community members, etc.)
    • Partner organizations, if any
    • Planning or preparation needed
    • Resources or funding used
    • How the project or event was innovative or impactful
    • Barriers and lessons learned
    • Demonstrates theme of transformational change
    • Future directions
