Ballou Continues to Serve in Pharmacy Leadership Society

Jordan Marie Ballou, PharmD, BCACP, Clinical Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy, concluded her term as President of Phi Lambda Sigma, the Pharmacy Leadership Society, on June 26, 2021, during the 46th House of Delegates. Dr. Ballou’s presidential tenure concludes after a year of tremendous growth for the Society.  Under her leadership, the Society initiated a paid staff model, strong national committee structure and held its first national meeting.  Dr. Ballou moves into the Immediate Past-President role on the National Executive Committee and will continue to be an active member of this group until the 47th House of Delegates in the Summer of 2022.

When asked to comment, Dr. Mueller stated, “I am so thankful for Jordan’s amazing leadership over this past year.  I can’t think of a better leader to have had at helm of the Society during a year of massive change.  Operational changes during a pandemic would have been overwhelming for some, but not for Jordan.  I have huge shoes to fill over this next year!”
