Failure to meet both criteria for two (2) consecutive years will lead to chapter charter review by the National Executive Committee and penalty up to charter revocation as decided by the National Executive Committee.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>PASSED:&nbsp;The Borda Count method will be used to elect each officer. Delegates will rank candidates in order of preference, and points shall be assigned to each ranking. A delegate\u2019s highest ranked candidate shall receive n-1 points, where n is defined as number of candidates. A delegate\u2019s second choice shall receive n-2 points, and the same ranking will take place until the lowest ranked candidate on the delegate\u2019s ballot; the lowest ranked candidate on the delegate\u2019s ballot receives zero (0) points. For Members-at-Large, the two (2) candidates with the highest number of points are elected. For President-Elect and Speaker of the House, the candidate with the highest number of points is elected. In the case of a tie, a runoff election will occur. If less than three (3) candidates are running for office, a simple majority vote will elect the winner.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Election of 2022-23 National Officers<\/strong><\/span>:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Society had 16 candidates run for President-Elect, Speaker of the House and Members-at-Large positions.
