Prescott was a leading advocate for an academic basis for pharmaceutical education in the late 1800s. Prescott is the Founder and Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan where he helped establish the Phi Delta Chi chapter in 1883.<\/p><p>The Prescott Pharmacy Leadership Award was conceived by Phi Delta Chi (PDC) in 1987 to recognize excellence and leadership potential among early career leaders in pharmacy.<\/p><p><span class=\"JsGRdQ\"><b>Nomination and Selection Process<\/b><\/span><\/p><p><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">In collaboration with the Pharmacy Leadership &amp; Education Institute (PLEI), this award is given annually to recognize an <\/span><span class=\"JsGRdQ\">emerging leader<\/span><span class=\"JsGRdQ\"> no more than 10 years into their career.
